Software Engineer (Rust - Backend)
Our platform ingests high-volume domain and infrastructure data, runs continuous analysis, and exposes crisp APIs and integrations to our platform. Backend engineers own the performance, correctness, and operability of those systems.
You will work across services and data paths from ingestion and enrichment through to query APIs, balancing speed, cost, and clarity so the product stays fast as we grow.

What you will do
- 00Implement and evolve Rust services for ingestion, enrichment, scheduling, and internal tooling
- 01Design APIs and data models that stay stable for clients while the implementation improves underneath
- 02Profile and optimise hot paths; own observability (metrics, tracing, structured logs) for your areas
- 03Collaborate with security research and frontend engineers on end-to-end features
- 04Participate in code review, incident learning, and pragmatic technical design discussions
What we're looking for
- 00Strong Rust experience in production or substantial open-source contributions
- 01Solid grasp of async I/O, concurrency, and fault-tolerant service design
- 02Comfort working with PostgreSQL or similar relational stores and migration-minded schema changes
- 03Pragmatic testing habits: you know when unit, integration, or contract tests pay off
